haha ok, it's as far back as it can go. i know it sounds stupid but the only thing i could do is put some washers on the back of the bottom screw of the pedal to tilt it. it works perfectly but i just want to say that that was an issue, quick solution i suppose. it doesn't move or anything.
also it's the same pedal used as the J2 elantra. it sits parallel with the rest of the pedals, not below. i don't know whether that's a good thing or not but it is a lot more responsive to your foot. man... that damn white plastic piece you gotta push one side of it out with your fingernail granted you have long fingernails. i struggled with the space but i didn't lay on my back at all. my hands got tired.
the pedal cover moves a little no? did you epoxy the new one on? it doesn't seem like it's as secure as the other covers like the shape for it is bad. not an issue but just to point out the pedal cover will fall off if youh rub your foot up against it.
it is worth it! for some reason my shifting is better too and it's easier on the foot.

Well, you could also make sure your cable wasn't twisted at all, and mess with the TB end a bit. I pulled my pulley as hard as I could in one direction, no more problems after that and resetting my ECU.

Yes I know this is an old thread but I just find it funny how you guys said you were going to wait for the epoxy to fail before swapping...
You realize this means you are saying you are waiting for your pedal to fall off while you are driving? I wouldn't trust epoxy on a main mechanical device used to control a vehicle....

Pedal cover, not the pedal arm. If the cover fell off, you still have the the plate that the cover mounts to.
Did you see Redz pics showing the pedal COVER being epoxy'd to the pedal arm? Or the two pics showing the pedal arm with and without the cover?
Reading the first 1/10th of the first post FTW.

I read the whole thread.
Did you see what his pedal looked like after? Who's to say his had the least amount of damage. Just saying, some of them used epoxy.. which exotherms and it's being used on plastic. Epoxy can get really hot, the resin and epoxy we use at work gets upto 90C before it kicks off.....

That little white plastic piece is a PIA to take out. I have a pretty strong grip but could not pop it out. I had to pull it out with a small pair of needle noose pliers
