hey socks, i followed your directions and the 'glue' doesn't really ease up, so i ended up cracking part of the plastic cover. is there a trick to remove the plastic cover more easily?

and also, because the 'glue' didn't ease up, i had to use epoxy to put them together. now there's water leaks in my corners. how would you go about fixing that?

well you have to be REALLLY careful.. i got small cracks in both.. use silicone to seal em... and then to seal the crack, use flowable windshield silicone, thats used to fill in cracks and stuff.

it sux, but u need to be SUPER careful when cracking off the lenss..

For clear corners, do you need special corner lights? because mine look like the reflector is the entire part, rather than just a piece inside.

So getting the one visible screw out is all it takes to remove the corners?

^^ Yeah, that and a plastic pressure popper. You have to pop them out of place after you remove the screw. don't forget to remove the light.

I may have to try this when I get some free time. Your car looks great with the black housings.
