simple stuff, buy this at Checkers/Schuck's/etc.

Clean headlight as much as possible, remove dirt/bugs/etc.

Apply liberally to badly stained/scratched headlights and sparingly to fairly clear headlights.
Also apply to applicator (I used a microfiber cloth and my hand but for best results I'd suggest a power buffer with a microfiber terry cloth applicator).

Buff thoroughly with buffer, or hand buff. MAke sure to work in the product.

Use clean terry cloth for final wipe down.


REMOVES SCRATHCHES AND YELLOW STAINS.

about the pics, they were AMAZING! Lol, (the before and afters). Can't fix, the the product name is McGuire's Scratch-X comes in a white bottle, the actual liquid is sorta blue-ish white..

 

lol, I just bought some of that stuff.

But it looks like its going to rain so I haven't gotten around to using it yet.

It was $5 for the bottle.

 

I think it's supposed to be Meguias Plast-X, not Scratch-X. Used Scratch-X on my dad's elantra and really screwed it up. It got terribly foggy and looked horrible. I used Plast-X on it afterward, and it was terrific!
Same for my headlights, the Plast-X really cleaned it up well, but the Scratch-X didn't do a thing.

 

after reading it on nt.com i sanded them to take off teh grime and used plastix on the head light.
I have a feeling its becasue i did not have a buffer in hand so i couldnt make it look good.

it came out smooth but i think i need a finer grit sand paper.
