If you're going all the way to the trunk, you may as well go with 0 gauge IMO. Then if you ever relocate your battery, or just add a second one, you won't need to upgrade.
AND 0 gauge is not much more expensive than 4.

I didn't want to drill. This was fairly easy, there's only a few bolts for the fender. You have to take the mud guard off also. Once that's out of the way it's easy. Plus you don't have to take any of the dash off.
When I was doing mine I didn't find alot of useful info here, there was a bit but it was scattered. So thats why i thought pics would help alot. Maybe a few of you can post up some of your method.

I'm not criticizing at all, in fact it's much cleaner because the wire leaves the engine bay right beside the battery, instead of having to find its way to the firewall in plain sight.
Your detailed pics will be helpful for many people.

It's a longer method, but a usefull contribution to the site none-the-less. Someone should post pix of drilling method with site selection.

ive beentelling people about this way literally for years. this is the only way i know thats possible to run 0/1 gauge without drilling.
also, u did alot more work then needed. u DO NOT need to remove the fender to go this route. ive installed mine, removed it, and reinstalled it using 0/1 gauge and never touched the fender. i used a yard stick to manuver it towards the hole next to the battery.
