Default Detailer's Domain: Nissan GTR - Paint Correction

Sorry its been awhile since I have posted up a write up (at least for me) its been a bit hectic at the warehouse.

Believe it or not another new car fix. Its really unfortunately. Diagnosis.... an abundance of holograms, swirls, cut marks, wash marks.
Solution below:

What was done -
Exterior

- Tires were spritzed down with P21S Total Autowash and washed down
- Wheel wells were spritzed down with P21S Total Autowash
- Wash down and rinsed
- Door jambs were cleaned up
- Clayed
- Dried
- Paint inspected and measured
- Wheel Wells were cleaned and dressed
- Tires dressed
- Masking
- 2 Step Paint correction (Menzerna Super Intensive Polish with an Uber Green and Menzerna PO85RD with an Uber Blue)

Amazing! The before and after shot of the door is crazy! Cant believe Nissan charges so much money for that car, and delivers it with that bad of paint.

BTW, most of these cars are all owners of the vehicles, right? Do you get alot of car dealers sending you their cars, to clean up before they're sold?

That bath look sexy. Is that just the Lusso Auto Bathe? It looks like you just sprayed foam all over it. How is it applied? Mix with water and use a sponge?

dealers tend to go with the cheapest place possible

for example, the dealer i worked for used to pay a place 1.50 a car to come hose down the cars on the lot then dry them with towels, even though they had a automated car wash on site, because they would have to pay the lot attendant 8 bux a hour to drive them through the car wash and he can only do 4-5 cars in a hour

and judging by the quality of the job

im sure you guys arent the cheapest place possible bowdown.gif

out of curiousity approx how much would one pay for what you guys did?
