My parents still have a regular VCR, as well as a Laserdisc player thats hooked up and used sometimes.

I still play my original NES system (great when you're drunk and want to play a simple game like Mario Brothers or Metroid). I still have an original Gameboy I play too. My tv in my room is an old 10 year old Zenith tube tv too. laugh.gif

My grandma still uses one of these too

oldest is a pioneer head unit for my car which is like 6 years old. everything else is pretty new within the last 2 or 3 years.

^ I still have an old Pioneer tape deck laying around somewhere. laugh.gif

1.gif to the an original NES too, as well as an atari, commodore 64, and game boy. I dont play them though. They're just sitting around in a box somewhere also....probably in the same box where the Pioneer tape deck is. tongue.gif

As far as what I use still to this day, I have a VCR hooked up to one of my tv's. I have a bunch of tapes that I havent yet gotten on DVD, so I'll watch movies once in a great while on it.

What do you consider technology?

I've got a surround sound systme which is 4 years old
I use my 6 year old XBOX 1 with a chip which plays NES or Atari games.
I have a 11 year old computer which I keep updating
I use a Linux terminal which has been pretty much the same for 20 years.
I use wrenches which teh technology has been around for 100 years
I use Knives which the technology has been around for 1000 years
I have used a stick to beat something before, which I'm pretty sure pre-historic cavemen used.

As for the oldest thing I use on the daily, it's probly my iPhone 3GS. Everything else technology oriented has been upgraded.

I don't think technology is outdated if you still use it on the daily.
