no no no, you're confused, Panther was the 32 bit and Jaguar was the 64, but Jaguar was only 250 bucks. that 3DO system was the 700 dollar one. playstation would be 300 if i remember correctly, but since the Jaguar controller had 400,000 buttons, and the games other than Wolfenstein and A vs. P totally sucked, it was a huge failure. poor Atari/IBM got rocked by Sony. sad.gif

I totally forgot about the Dreamcast. Damn....
Who remembers the NeoGeo? laugh.gif The Arcade stand up was the best...it would always have like 4 or 5 different games you could choose from, and it had a memory slot you could insert your home memory card into. I remember that the home console was super expensive as well, and so were the games.
Honestly though....the original NES is probably one of the best consoles out there. It was so primitive and basic, but some of the most enjoyable and most fun games were available for it. I still break mine out once in awhile just to play Metroid, Punch Out, and Mario Brothers. tongue.gif

I've had quite a few. However, my XBOX is chipped and works like a media center computer now. It plays all game consoles listed in this thread via emulators, except PS3 and Xbox 360. I don't even use cartridges or cds/DVDs... They're all on the upgraded hard drive. The only difference is that I use an xbox controller.
