My cd/dvd drive went bad, fan started buzzing, hard drive started clicking, and bluescreened about 2x a week, however, the battery still charges / lasts like a friggin' champ. So I bought my new baby smile.gif

Let's see,
My desktop:
Abit AN9 32X
AMD Athlon X2 5400+
2GB Corsair XMS DDR2 800
GeForce 8800 GTS
74GB WD Raptor - system drive
300GB Maxtor DiamondMax - storage
2x Samsung DVD-RW
Samsung 226BW 22" Widescreen monitor
Klipsch Promedia 2.1 Speakers
Logitech G15 Keyboard
Logitech G5 Mouse
Ubuntu Linux 8.04 32-bit
- it's a few years old but still runs great especially for as little gaming as I do these days.
My laptop:
Acer Travelmate 8210
Intel Core 2 Duo 2.16GHz
2GB DDR2 667
ATI Mobility Radeon X1600
160GB HDD
Blu-ray Disc Drive
Windows XP Pro SP3
- perfect laptop except that it runs nearly 200 degrees making it too hot to use thereby making it a gigantic paperweight. I have to keep it underclocked and undervolted to run cool enough to use.
I also have tons of parts in my office closet including, if I'm not mistaken, a 5 1/4 floppy drive. Maybe I should get rid of some of that stuff...
