What are the chances that any collective action can stop SOPA from passing
if congress is hell bent on passing it basically everyone has to bend over and take it up the 
right?

Call your congress critters that are for this atrocity, and tell them that YOU DO NOT WANT IT PASSED. Warn them that their stance on the matter will have an effect on their reelection chances.

13 members of congress that backed this bill have withdrawn their support in the last 48 hours. They are getting the message and I do not believe this bill will be passed.
