Default Turn Bacteria Into Gold!!!

http://todaynewsgazette.com/bacteria-make-gold/

If they've figured out how to basically make real gold in a laboratory, what is that going to do for our currencies? I thought it was backed by gold, if it's not, no big deal, but if it still is, at least somewhat, this could prove to be a bad thing.

Its going to make the stock market rise. People flock to gold as a safe haven when the stock market does poorly and they switch back when it starts doing well. I would think the other way around is true. That's my prediction.

Our money hasn't been backed by gold for a long time. Its backed by military :-)

What they figured out is how to take a very expensive artificial gold solution and use bacteria instead of high temperatures to make the gold precipitate. There is nobody making gold here.

I thought this was fake until I found it on the Washington Post. Pretty cool but they mention it takes gold to produce gold.

The bacteria separates the Chlorine atoms from the existing gold atoms and generates chlorine gas and Gold metal. It's not alchemy.

The way the thread is written it has you believe that the bacteria can rearrange the atomic structure of other elements to create gold atoms..... ponder that.
