Yeah. Particle radiation shielding is provided by the natural EMF present on Earth. IMO there should be two different terms without sharing the term "radiation" to further differentiate the two.



If the EMF was too powerful, such as around Jupiter, you would also have issues.

Wave-particle duality. electrons lack the ability to move through the air easily. They actually become waves, then when measured, they become electrons. The act of measuring them destroys the wave... this is my understanding... However, wave-partical duality is particle physics and i guess now all physics is up for debate again after discoveries at CERN.



Establishing a magnetosphere would be a non-trivial task.
