Galaxy S III is world's best-selling smartphone
The Galaxy overtakes the Apple. Samsung's Galaxy S III has become the world's best-selling smartphone for the very first time.
According to Strategy Analytics, some 18-million units of the Galaxy S III were shipped in the third quarter of this year compared to about 16-million of Apple's iPhone 4s.
The Galaxy S III is also one of the fastest-selling smartphones in the world with Samsung recently saying it sold more than 30-million units since its launch in May.

Not an Apple fan, but sales of the 4S dropped off because everyone was waiting for the 5 to come out. Lets see the sales comparison for the Galaxy during the first 1/4 of iPhone5 sales.
