Well, it took them 5 weeks to get me a warranty replacement. I'd steer clear. It's mid grade specs now aren't worth the hassle of dealing with a company who won't even put a main office in an area they intend to make huge profits from. All my correspondence had to go through Hong kong, and the return process was an utter joke. They're manufacturing is sub par, and have had multiple complaints across the whole range of the phone, from battery issues, to hardware buttons, to screens, which is what was defective on my one plus one.

So this is some Chinese knock-off of an Android phone, like that one company there that copies iPhones? Is the OS really Android?

I haven't had any problems with mine. It's understandable why you feel like that. I completely agree that they should have a better customer service.
It's a custom android rom by cyanogen. It's not really a knockoff phone since it doesn't really looks like anything else in the market. For $350 you get a phone with specs that rival others that cost twice as much and you are not bound to a contract.
