I haven't used the backup. I don't have anything that important to backup - my contact info is all sync'd with Google.

I DLed photobucket, looks awesome. Really useful for me, but I won't auto-upload. Some stuff just shouldn't be out on the internet.

are the MP3s free downloads?

yeah, thats one of the things that makes it sketchy, because i think it might be another thing like limewire or something.. but i didn't question it as it doesn't bother me much.

I have no clue what that graph represents. It has no labels. 2,155 what? What app is that, lag fix?

Quadrant is a benchmark app for android phones, and enables you to measure and compare performance across various android phones.

lag fix is not an app and its better explained here: http://capfaq.com/w/Lagfix

I downloaded Quadrant for my Evo. The first test was 1300. I turned off all the extra stuff (sync, bluetooth, GPS, ran task killer, 4G antenna, and turned WiFi on) and scored 1307. I turned everything on (and 4G/WiFi off) then ran it and scored 1291. Nexus One 2.2+ appeared slightly better.

not rooted. nowhere close to 2155. did lagfix cause the increase? Or is it just because it's a fresh phone?

the lag fix cause the increase. also if my phone was 2.2 froyo if would run as fast as 2.1 eclair with lag fix. the software makes a world of difference. if you haven't updated do it.
