Convinced that there's got to be life on other planets? You're not alone in the universe -- in fact, many NASA scientists agree with you. And a panel convened recently by the space agency (see the video below) believes that finding it could happen soon, too -- perhaps "in twenty years" -- thanks to incoming telescope technology. Recent projects, like the Kepler Telescope, Dark Energy Survey and the Very Large Telescope have detected the presence of planets and even their atmospheres. But astronomers are even more excited about future projects like the Transiting Exoplanet Surveying Satellite (TESS) and James Webb Space Telescope, set to launch in 2017 and 2018, respectively.

you have to be pretty much in a bubble to believe there aren't aliens somewhere in the universe, it's pretty much 99% that they exist, just like how we exist, the Universe is way to big, to even think that nothing exists, I think it more comes down to, do they actually come to our planet, and for me there are way to many credible statements from military personnel to say they don't at some point.
It be great to learn if there is a planet in reach we can see which has life on it, could you even contemplate seeing a planet which has buildings on it and things walking around, and just anything from a different planet which had intelligent life.

Do you want to qualify that? There's plenty of evidence to show that simple life may even exist in our own solar system. Since we've recently discovered a possible body of water under our own crust, we don't even now what life may exist there. And this now makes it plausible that water and life may exist (or for that matter have existed) deep beneath the crust of some of the known planets and even a few of larger moons. "Life" doesn't just include plants and animals, let alone intellect like our own, but also microbes, diatoms, bacteria, etc. The likelihood that life exists beyond our own planet is WAY higher than 99%. The likelihood is so vast within our own Solar system alone we may find at least fossilized life any day now. Accounting for the billions of galaxies that we can see with current technology, then considering this is just what we know as the "visible universe," meaning the universe could expand exponentially further than we can even fathom. Now consider for a moment the recent radiation readings that showed evidence of the big bang, they's not dissimilar to the projections from a black holes "belch," which if you know anything about that science it could easily prove that there other "universes" (see multiverse hypotheses) existing far beyond our foreseeable reach.
That's why 99% is a gross under-calculation.
If life out there? I am certain of it despite the lack of proof. But the evidence we have acquire in the last decade alone makes a very good argument.
Is there intelligent life? Who knows, who cares? Life is life.

I just hope I'm alive when it becomes public with 100% undeniable proof all across the entire planet, that intelligent life exists on other planets somewhere in the universe. Either as a visitation, or some type of communication, or telescope findings.

It's just a matter of time, I would say within 20 years is likely. Could take longer but probably not.
They just took a photo on Mars that looks an awful lot like biologically active soil.

Considering the history of the planet it was likely active at some point, but surely not today.
We do still have some very likely candidates on a few of the Gas Giants' moons, but they're quite a distance away. Dwarf planet Ceres is predicted to have some water both in it's atmosphere and under it's thin crust, but this is all speculation. Still, it's one of the many candidates to host existing (simple) life in our solar system.

If there are in fact multiple universes, then yeah...to say we are the only intelligent form of life is completely idiotic!
