Default LHC (Large Hadron Collider) is online

Check this out. It's an updating picture which tells you the status of the LHC.

I found it here http://lhc.web.cern.ch/lhc/

For those of you who need a memory jog this video explains what it is.

I just realized something... That picture is currently showing world record numbers for the highest energy particle collision. The previous record, also set by the LHC was 2 3.5 TeV(Terraelectron Volt) beams. This is showing 3.5TeV and 4.0TeV. That's a full 1/2TeV higher then the current world record.

Wow. It's really cool that they update this picture every 10 seconds.

+1 I LOL'd

I wonder if the terminator robot could pull herself off the LHC when it is running.
