Kinda makes it obvious that it didn't just "evolve" from an explosion.
HKC, I seem to remember seeing that video in a science museum close to 10 years ago - very cool!

Strike, it's amazing that its from the 1960's!
I wonder why it's only the "observable" universe. Is that how far the light goes, or is it due to the limits of our telescopes? Or is there simply nothing out there to see?
What they should do instead of sending man to space, is build a gigantic telescope the size of the hadron collider on some continent with a massive lens and the latest technology. Or a multi-national massive telescope attached to the space station.
My mind is blownnnnnn. Would the world be a better place if they started paying more attention to stuff like this?

They said that it was the end of the observable universe because based on the time of the big-bang, it would only be so big. There is nothing past that point that we can see in our universe.
