The only thing that would be good for is to try to find a way to port another OS onto it... be it Android, iOS, Kindle, Linux.... anything. HP Just announced that they are shutting down WebOS... This means you will get no support. You will get no upgrades. There will be no market. If it breaks, you're screwed. You'd better be technically savvy.
With that said, there ARE people working on porting Android to the device. I may pick one up for myself, but I would not recommend that device to anyone whom I know personally.

Also rumours that HP will simply re-launch the webOS as they are planning on using it as a base for their new in-car entertainment pods. There is a prize of £1500 up for the first person to get Android working seamlessly on the tablet over here too!
