Default Is this a good router?

My basic belkin G is acting funky and I'm considering an upgrade. I'm not an IT guru and I want basic plug and play with good security and speed

I would stick with a larger name of router. That company may be out of business tomorrow. Another thing is larger companies tend to follow up on their products better with firmware updates. Linksys is my favorite. Belkin, Netgear..

Yeah that's a good one... has all you basic stuff that you need for a simple wireless network and will improve your signal. You should get that one.

I have one like this http://www.amazon.com/Cisco-Linksys-WRT160...4427&sr=8-1
This router has wireless N and it has a NAS (Network Attached Storage) AKA. Storage Link. But mine cost $99 and came with a external high gain antenna on a 3 foot cord for optimal placement.

I just did some research and it looks like i got one heck of a deal on that 6 months ago... I cannot find a simliar deal anywhere.

You can buy the brand name with all the bells and whistles if you want. TrendNet has been around for awhile I have a TrendNet PC wireless card that I've been using with my thinkpad for 6 years now.

However, the router MadElantra linked is cost-effective and does what he is asking for. But the choice is his.
