Default Galaxy S 4G OTA update

I'm pretty happy! Galaxy S 4G owners got an OTA update over the weekend, that solved some issues people were having. It was a maintenance update, not a major OS update. It not only gave me about 150MB of additional memory, but it also solved a few other problems people had and made it even faster than it was.

Also found out that we're getting the 2.3 Gingerbread update by the end of the summer! Wooooooo! Loving my phone even more now!

I believe all Galaxy S 4G phones. I'm with T-mobile btw. I had pre-ordered my phone and got it before it was available in stores, so I know people who were first to get it, are getting the OTA updates sooner than people who just recently got their phones.

Start making your plans now. I just uncovered something which makes our phones susceptible to the Y3K bug. Stockpile now.

The order of release is....

Android open source

Official Samsung

Carrier approved Samsung updates

If you bought direct, you wont have to wait for the carriers to decide which bloatware they want you to have.
