go to http://plus.google.com and make sure you're logged into Google. It isn't letting everyone in immediately, but I can send invites.

You won't get an e-mail or anything, it'll just eventually let you in http://plus.google.com - some have said it has a delay... one guy got in 30 minutes later, another didn't get in after 2 hoursa friend invited me and I was able to get in immediately
Also, the "Send Invite" feature isn't available right now like it was last night, but last night simply adding someone to a circle would accomplish the invite. Let me know if/when it eventually works.
