Do people really use dialup?
I always see threads that have alot of pics marked as 56k no way. Do people actually still use dial up? Broadband is so cheap now a days who would still use a phone line to surf the net? chairhit.gif

I am typing this from my phone which is very much slower than dialup. It has 25000 ms ping times and transfers at 4kbps. It works at 8mbps just fine on wifi. The 56k warnings are useful for me when I am mobile because there is no 3G around here.

If I had to choose between dialup and tethering to my phone, the choice would be easy.
If I had to go back to dialup I would quit the internet.

Internet access in the USA is a pitiful joke compared to some other countries. That goes for "broadband" as well.
