I've got a simple gel case, but once the Lifeproof case is available I'm getting that. IMO the best case for the iPhone, fully waterproof and as nearly indestructible as you're going to find.

lol we had one of those on display at best buy inside a fish tank and we would call it to impress people

My defender is a hard case with a screen protector an a silicone outer. Only disadvantage is that it almost doubles the size of my iPhone.

There must have been a change near the end of last year because the one I have is a different out cover material than my sonn's and is more ridged.

I had the ballistic case on my s3.. It was quite cheap and was a beast. I think it was like 18$ shipped on amazon. Obviously added some bulk but it seemed pretty bulletproof..
