I'm looking at setting up a Paypal account, business bank account, and probably purchasing a credit card machine to sell t-shirts and other merchandise (probably a one time need).
Any ideas, mistakes you've learned from? I've never bought a credit card machine or set one up. I assume an ethernet connection could be used rather than phone line?

I have heard to get in business with a credit card machine it takes damn near $1,000 unless you get some special plan. They also offer wireless plans where you can connect to 3G.
Paypal is very cheap to start up and I'm more likely to buy from someone who uses paypal then a credit card. It's easier to impulse buy.

Paypal will be used for website sales, and CC machine during a concert venue. Not sure if I want to rely on two cell phones to process credit cards in a concert environment
a friend of mine that runs a optics website referred this to me for you. he normally uses paypal as a wayto get money from buyers off their CC's. said that usally costs 30/month so he was looking into this.
