Anyone still watch VHS, or even own a VHS?

I still have my VCR hooked up, and a couple boxes of tapes that I like to sort through and watch every once in a while.

Still have a VHS/DVD combo player, but I'm not sure where it is...

having kids = having VHS tapes of obsolete shows.

I'm not trying to impress you, but I have a pretty sizeable VHS collection. I haven't got the player out in a while though.

Not really dude... With a $200 computer and a $70 HDHomeRun, you can have a channel recording to your media center in the background while you watch something on the foreground... I'm always recording kids shows for later.

I wouldn't trust the kids with tapes. They'd probly destroy them. A media center is so much better. All they can tear up is the remote.

I love VHS, and will always use it. .99c old movies at the nifty store. It beats netflix, and buying dvd! I bought a lot of good movies like Die Hard, Star Wars, The Shining, Jurassic Park, Aliens collection...etc. It's hard not to find something worthwhile and cheap.

I still have a VHS player that I use for broadcasting my security camera's over my existing CATV in the house. I also use it to convert old VHS tapes into video files on a computer.
