Can you boys help me out on something? Right now I have 46" hdtv and a regular dvd player that connects to the tv with rca cables. I keep seeing the 1080 upconvert dvd players around at next to no cost ($30-50). I have HD cable service and I dont plan on getting into blue ray. I have alot of regular dvds and I was wondering if its worth to buy one of the upconvert ones? Im not sure if my tv is 1080 or 720 (its an LG). Will the dvd player show a better picture and have more HD quality to it? I know I'll have to get an HDMI cable since I had to get one for my HD cable box to connect to the tv.

 

DVD is 720 Max. You will not see a change unless your TV does not display 720 right.
