I work with PCs all day in and out troubleshooting them and working with networks and such. I switched to a mac just cause i wanted to learn something new. Xp runs on my other partition using bootcamp works fine for playing games. I never really had a huge complaint about a PC.
I think that part of the reason MACs are claimed to be so reliable is because they design the OS around the hardware they put in. So you don't get any software or hardware conflicts like you would on a PC where people put random stuff in it. you know what i mean?

I hate Apple's ads. Their only selling point is by dogging on Microsoft. I'm really tired of hearing that little sh*t head talk smack. Maybe a good advertising edge but I think it's tasteless and immature. That douche bag yuppie is the perfect actor to portray a computer that's too full of it's own sh*t to be worthwhile though.

I see that commercial all the time. I'm an avid Mac user and have never had any issues with it. My best friend on the other hand has gone through 3 PC laptops in the last year alone.

Maybe your friend needs to stay away from computers all together...
