Gatorade sets me off right. then some breakfast type of food soon after to keep me happy

hot thick stews like broccoli cheese or grilled cheese with bacon.

Apparently fatty foods actually help to coat your stomach lining, which in turn reduces the felt effects of a hangover.





Quarter pounders or bacon 'n' eggs for me.

It's to do with the methanol componant of alcohol. It takes longer to be neutralised, ethanol is readily absorbed in comparison, but the methanol is worked on some hours later - it's this process that puts you over the limit in the morning, and makes you feel like crap. Fats emulsify with the methanol, and it's passed out.



So for me, bacon and grilled cheese sandwich works well - with a full fat cream coffee. It's a wonder I'm still alive when I think about it,
