The only difference (besides taste) I can tell is that turkey bacon doesn't leave fat in the pan, what are other befinits/disadvantages between the two?

Turkeys aren't fat enough to make bacon. Also they are not piggy enough.
If you want lean bacon, trim your bacon or get a higher quality cut to begin with. Turkey bacon is as wrong as a tofu burger.

It doesn't even really change color when you cook it, until it starts to burn. Then it's even more inedible. Trust me when I say stick to the pork bacon. Your taste buds will thank you.

It doesn't change color because it's already fully cooked, lol.Ihave to agree with the aboves as well though.....nothing but bacon is bacon. Turkey bacon is good if you want a crispy factor to something like a chicken salad or whatever, but will never compare in most situations. As for nutritional values, it's a google search away.
turkey bacon has a lot of artificial ingredients to make it look and taste like bacon..
i rather have pork fat that sodium nitrate, fillers, flavors and starches and artificial colors.
