New beer
Pretty much anything from Dogfish Head is good, also Long Trail and Wolavers is on my go-to list. I don't know if you get it out there but Southern Tier is damn good, and for local to you go for a Brooklyn.
sam smith (oatmeal stout in particular) > sam adams. sam adams always serves up plenty of flavor-... but not enough beer. it's difficult for me to still be able to taste the beer in sam adams. sierra nevada, southern tier, cigar city, rogue, stone, sam smith's, smuttynose, swamphead, mcsorely's, brooklyn, oscar blues, blue point, red brick, terrapin, st bernardus, tampa bay brewing company-... those are breweries that i trust my tastebuds to. it's rare that i'll ever get a bad beer from any of these breweries. give some of those a try.
