Man eats 28 raw eggs..... Dies
A Tunisian man may have won his bet--to eat 28 raw eggs--but in doing so, he lost his life.
Dhaou Fatnassi, a 20-year-old man from the town of Kairouan, swallowed more than two dozen raw eggs on a dare from his friends.
According to Tunesia's Shems FM radio, the friends called an ambulance after realizing something was wrong, but it was too late.
“Doctors were called in after the young man felt strong stomach pains, but he died before medical assistance could reach him,” the report said.
An official cause of death has not yet been determined.

Perhaps there is a idiot limit switch in every humans brain that goes off at some level of stupidity. I also think that each "switch" it preset to different acceptable limits... Just saying

I have heard of this before. I guy trying to set a world record drank/ate/swallowed something like 30 eggs. But since he was at a competition, there was first aid on hand, and after he fell over (from a stroke) they were able to hospitalize him in time and keep him alive. It took like 10 seconds after the last egg, it is crazy fast. The guy raised his hands in celebration, than keeled over. Not sure medically how/why, but having heard of this 3 times, I can't say I would ever tempt and drink more than 8 eggs at a time.

People don't think about food all the time, but regular food is dangerous in quantity like anything else. Reading ^ that reminded me that if you eat a whole salt shaker full of salt, you will stroke out.

Just today, my mate told me that raw eggs will destroy your eyesight over a short period of time. Apparently there are unbonded proteins which bond to your optic nerve and destroy it in a period of months - if you eat one or two raw eggs per day.
