For me a my New England folk, just substitute 1.5 Qt Bryer's Ice Cream for sausage and that's almost the same call I made. I couldn't believe it when after 2 decades of buy 1/2 gal containers, I bought one, brought it home and realized it was only 1.5 Qt. now.
