Okay... earlier today I was watching Rachael Ray make some bacon wrapped BBQ burgers, and it intrigued me. So, tonight I tried it out (I left off the bacon and BBQ sauce). It was un-effin'-believable. I love spicy food, and this had some bite! I enjoyed it so much that I wanted to share.
Since I'm on a health kick, I bypassed the 20% beef and went with only 8% fat and I cooked it on the George Foreman to let the grease drop out.
Ingredients
2 lbs. beef
1 7oz. can of chipotle peppers in adobo sauce
~2oz. of worcestershire sauce
~2oz. of extra virgin olive oil
cracked pepper and cracked salt
Instructions
1. I put the meat in a large bowl and cracked salt and pepper over the meat to my liking.
2. I created a puree using the entire can of chipotle peppers in adobo sauce, the EVOO and worcestershire sauce. I threw it all in the Magic Bullet and it came out in a nice paste.
3. Mixed it all together into 4 good size patties.
4. Threw it on the George Foreman for about 7-8 minutes.
5. Topped it with two slices of Cheddar/Mozzarella cheese. (sharp cheddar would be great, also)
6. WIN!
It was full of flavor! Nice and spicy - my wife would prefer a little less bite on hers, but she enjoyed it. Next time I'll put a thick tomato slice on it, but any BBQ, mustard, mayo, or ketchup would honestly kill the flavor, IMO. This thing was amazing!
Oh, and I put it on a nice thick sweet bun, like a Hawaiian roll.
Here's her entire recipe, though I only used it as a guideline.

That recipe is in one of her cook books that we own.
And delicious!! I was afraid of canned peppers but they really bite. Next time try that with a little habanero jack mixed in... SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO good.
Hell I'm going to do this tomorrow for diner but with a modest amount of porter cheddar melted over the top
