what i mean is: do you twirl your pasta clockwise or counterclockwise? do you use a spoon to assist your twirling? maybe you are one of those people who just scoops it up recklessly and shovels it into their mouths?
eating some pesto spaghetti right now with the counterclockwise method hence what prompted me to make this thread. apparently, twirling your pasta counterclockwise is unproper etiquette. i've been doin it all my life, so any other way feels unnatural. and i don't use a spoon when i'm eating long pasta; i jus twirl against the plate.

The one and only time I ate it with a spoon was when I was a guest at someone's house and they all did it. Awkward!
If I twirl, it's clockwise. However I typically cut it with my fork and eat it that way. Twirling gets messy and I usually get too much in one bite.
