This "sandwich" is terrible. Tastes like the usual McDonalds cardboard box and not a 'rib' to be found.

It's just like any other time it's out. It's released regionally. So just because 1 area has it, doesn't mean the whole country can run out and grab one. If it were in your area, the commercials would be on too.

because of this thread, I may actually go try one today. Never had it before, and I left my lunch at home.

Thank you, leoj, for contributing to the fatness of 'murica.

I agree hundred percent and it does taste like a cardboard box. What they need to do is bring back the fajitas! Ooooh they were so good what happened to them?!

for some reason, the Mcrib reminds me of the bbq rib sandwich they served in my school cafeteria 12 years ago

Its not bad, bbq sauce could have a bit more tang, extra pickles and onions with swiss cheese would be my fav.

By amusing coincidence, my Wife bought me a McRib the other day. She was hungry and a decade ago I had said I liked the sandwich. I took two bites and told her please, in the future, never buy me anything from McDonalds again and I'll just go hungry for a couple of hours instead. She reminded me I used to like this meal. I reminded her that was when they fried their potatoes in good oil and smothered them in salt, and the McRib bore a stronger resemblance to ribs than to tofu.
