The fast food industry has already jumped the shark. But, if it had been unionized when I worked there in the 80's, maybe today the workers would mostly speak English and wouldn't screw up my order almost EVERY time. When I worked there, I was paid almost double the minimum wage, every employee spoke English, and we rarely got an order wrong.
