I think if it came down to it I could go vegetarian. I know my way around using meat and animal product to make things taste good and in the long run it would be great for my diabetes. I would really miss my spicy tuna rolls though!
Never!
Steaks ftw! I love my meat (don't get that the wrong way, haha). I love anything that has meat in it, I wouldn't be able to sleep at night without having has some kind of meat in the day. (no, get those thoughts out of your mind!).

I could never give away my steaks, and I love grilling chicken at home.
Forget all about trying to live as long as possible. My grandfather died in his early 60s from a heart attack - he never smoked or drank. My grandmother lived to be 81 and smoked for 67 years and drank a glass of Chardonnay with almost every dinner. She died of an inoperable aortic aneurysm, because her health was too bad for surgery.
My boss at work is in his mid 40s, has been cardio exercising and eating healthy for over the last year, lost 40 pounds and is skinny. Eats VERY healthy, plenty of fish, yogurt and veggies for lunch. He had a heart attack a month ago and it surprised everyone because of how young and health conscious he is.
I'm gonna eat what I want and enjoy life. It's better than wasting the next 30 years NOT eating what I want (steak, chicken, etc.) just to have a piano fall on me and be the cause of my death.

[on_topic]I can't do it, and I suggest you don't either. It's not worth it. [/on_topic]

I somewhat agree with this statement you made bout how sometimes eating healthy doesnt matter anymore! Last year my mom was diagnosed with breast cancer (shes been cancer free for a year now and is in remission) but she never drank, smoked and barely ate red meat at all except for occasionally! She worked you almost everyday and got plenty of exercise! In fact when she was diagnosed before she had the surgery her surgeon actually had to tell her to eat MORE red meat!!! The only thing I think that may have caused it is the fact that my parents are huge on diet soda and now they're saying an ingredient in diet pop called aspertame might be linked to certain cancers including breast cancer!! Of course she disagrees but the fact is that you could be extremely healthy now-a-days and it would make no difference whether you live longer or whatever and its mainly because thru time and years our dna and bodies have slowly continued to break down over time (they supposedly lived to be well over 100 years in biblical times) and now your lucky to make 90yrs!! LOL!!
