Default Becoming a vegetarian

So as the topic says....does anyone here think they could ever become a vegetarian? I've thought about it and they say people can live to be pretty old if they do it right, but I love my steaks and hamburgers and chicken and all that. laugh.gif I give alot of credit though to the people who quit meat all together and switch to veggies only. unsure.gif

I have a couple of vegetarian friends but I could never do it. I just don't see the point. Beef and pork aren't that healthy for you if eaten in excess, but instead of walking away from meat altogether you can switch to deer, elk, and bison if it's purely a health issue. You can buy bison meat and it tastes better but cooks almost the same as beef while being a lot healthier for you. You've pretty much got to hunt if you want deer or elk meat but elk meat especially is incredibly lean and high in protein.

When I was a teenager I ate only meat, and basically all that was elk and deer. I rarely ate any fruit or vegetables. I think that's a big part of why I'm built really bulky and thick. I dunno though. Kind of wish I would have eaten more veggies if that would have given me a more typical body type. lol.
