Default Winter Driving Rant

Dear Mr/Ms SUV driver on my @$$ driving so closely that it looks like your SUV is trying to get it on with my car,

It's snowing. We get it. Just a reminder that 4WD does not make you invulnerable to the laws of physics. I am driving under the limit because the roads are slick. And, unlike you, I'm anticipating that at any moment someone will pull out in front of me and I'll need extra room to stop. I can probably drive circles around you in the snow but I'm using my common sense for my safety and the safety of others. You think I'm pissed at you now? Rear end me and see what happens.

BACK OFF. I hope you end up in a ditch so I can drive by and wave. At least I'll still be on the road. May you be destroyed in the New Year and all that you know and love is killed with fire. Or herpes.

Love,

NJ_Driver

This is when we slow down by gently lifting off the accelerator.

I laugh at every 4x4 that is off the road that i pass. They think they're god on the road when it snows. While AWD does help...it does not make you invincible.

I was surprised with the big storm we got the other day that i wasn't ranting like this on the way to work. Interstate was cover with snow, so NO lines were visible. And i didn't do over 40mph the whole ride there (my choice)

DUH!!!
