Okay here is my story:

I wake up this morning,I go to work, I come home this evening(4:45pm)ANd notice my car is sluggish like at wot(not as accelerating as much as usual).
Around 6 pm I decide to clean my aem air filter b/c its been about 6 months. Then a older guy came up to me as I was on the ground taking the filter off and he told me that when he came home last night at about 11:30, as he was walking up a strange car pulled up by were I was parked w/ 2 guys in it. One got out and was standing there for a long time(taking a piss),they were drunk I assume,got back in, then the driver threwq up everywhere on the ground. then the passenger got back out, opened the trunk got something out then got backi in and gave it to the driver.
Then he got out, walked over to my car and hit my passenger door really hard, with whatever it was he hit it hard. This guy that came up to me, he lives below me on the other side,so he seen it happen b/c he said they were acting really suspiciuos so he was watching them through the balcony window. WHY THE F#CK WOULD SOMEONE JUST RANDOMLY WALK UP TO MY CAR OUT OF MANY CARS IN THIS APARTMENT COMPLEX AND F#CK MY CAR UP???!! When he seen them hit my car from his aprartment he yelled and tried to get thier plates but they took off.

The funny thing is that I didnt even notice the dent until he came up and started telling me this...

that's garbage... sorry that this happened. looks like a really hard hit. you could DIY but it would be difficult because to do it right you would have to heat up and melt the clear coats using a special buffer. it gets the best of cars.

Wow... I think that beats my old tib getting knifed in the Pizza Hut parking lot.

your looking at about 800+ work of damage there. Look for my post about people who cant park, i posted pictures, i have just a door rash on mine not as deep as yours and was getting quoted that much. You could probably use a stud gun and a slide hammer and pull it out. Sorry to hear that dude.

na.. not 800+ in damage.. unless you take it to a super professional shop.

it could be bumped out pretty easily, and with some rubbing compound, most of the blue will come out.

you might be able to get at it from the other side. not exactly sure at the moment.

after bumping it out, and using a good rubbing compound it will look 100X better. then you can go from there as how good you want it to look. you could get a small rattle can made up with your paint code, and spray that area, then wetsand it along with about 1" outside of the 'blue' area. throw some clear on there. wait a day, use rubbing compound and it should look pretty damn good for under 50$.

Yeah it sucks pretty bad, I'll try do to something like socks said first but it will be time consuming...

I think their might be a camera on my building so I MIGHT be able to find out who did this.
I will know more when I go down to the office here tomorrow after work.

good luck with the camera thing. most of the time they only give you a estimation of the person's color, heigth and finally a guesstimation of their weight. then you got to know of someone that knows them.

I feel ya man. One morning I was leaving my girlfriends college to drive back to mine(about a 3 hours trip) and I get out to my car and my driver side mirror was just laying there smashed. A big hunk of the mirror was actually on the roof of the car in front of me. Which tells me it wasnt some person that accidentally hit it. I also have woken up to find my fender smashed up at the same school the next year....

You could file a police report and maybe your insurance would cover it.

$800? I can't see the pics (blocked @ work) but it'd be cheaper to get a new door/fender and paint it.

Take off the door panel and see if you can knock some of it out? Be careful not to do more damage though.
