Well, what i try to do is for the good of peps here and the hyundai community in genral and it really piss me the f*** off when i read shit like this.

1. I been tuning hyundai for a long time and i know what will work and wont work.

2. I am saveing peps a ass load of money my 380+ shipping is nothing compaerd to kspec/ or shark racining $850 buck shit!
i have heard how much shit is over there

3. i do this on my time when i get off work and sometimes i get home at 11 and i am tired as hell..



I got so much shit happening right now i wont have a job next month/ The base here " my f***ing home since i was 13 is closeing for ever mom is going in the hospital next mouth and we are moving to taegu next mounth on the 16

and today my sister who is in texas getting a divorce got in a ATV wreck and shit..... we are here and she is there all alone plane tickets cost to much and she has no insurance


It really hurts me when i see and read shit like this.... what the f*** do you think that i am some kind of internet hyusler i post all my emails to include my Goverment email my phone ## why in the f*** would i want to rip people off that is just f*** up.

if i wanted to be an ass hole about this shit i would have to charge peps for my $8.85 a gallon gas that i must buy

I am a work for the US army i am a big rig driver here and i go on the road for 3 day to 2 weeks at a time i check my pms when i am at the truck stops and when i get back home i do as much as i can its not easy and i dont want to leave anyone hanging out there..

now over here there has been mass anti-us protest groups of 20,000 + it got so bad that it shut down the mail over here because its AREA III is where the mail truck refuel and get more mail and it now as i type this is on alert and that changes day to day.. now i tryed really hard to help this guy out i felt so bad that he did not get it fast i offerd to refund him the 144 dollors for the express shipping. when it was infact 168 which i did not tell him... and now i read the post.... IMHO my name is f***ed... and i am about ready to give up on this shit all together.... what should i do i am not f***ing happy at all.... he calls me a f***er too

John, I will be the first to apologize that I brough this upon you. I was trying to spread the word about the deal you were trying to help the Hyundai community. Keyan is what he is. I am not going to take sides on this, but I am hoping he will reply to your thread so this can get squared away. You are a essential part of this community, offering members here great prices on OEM KDM shiet. I would be the first one to apologize if I ever offended you. Just by talking to you on the phone and through pm's you are a very knowledgable and respectful individual. You helped me in more the one way. Hope this helps some.

I know how hard it can be, but when you are selling parts, even if it's a "Favor", you've got to get that stuff out ASAP. if not, it is ESSENTIAL that you answer PM's, Emails, and posts. ESSENTIAL. Folks will forgive a LOT, but if you ignore them, they have no other choice.

Part of the problem is exactly what you said, this is a favor, not a job. Unless you are making some profit off of something, you aren't totally motivated to do it all the time, on time. It's just simple fact my man. yeah, Kspec.com and other sites charge more for an item. You can't run a business on ZERO profit, and you can't run one on paying for s/h yourself. A industry standard is to charge 25% more for an item than you pay for it, and add s/h. that way you can have a sale and still make money. Kspec.com only charges 5 to 10% more than COST plus S/H for parts, and often, on OEM parts, we just charge cost plus s/h. Look at that and use it to your advantage Jon, sell parts, make a tiny bit off of them, and I guarantee, you will get them out on time or put more effort into it.

i just bought close to 500 worth of parts from john granted there was a missunderstanding and he ordered pistons instead of piston rings he returned them and is holding money for me for my next purchase

when i got the box (55lbs mind you) i was only charged like 60 bux for shipping since it went from the apo
i got the box about 1 week after he shipped it and it arrived IN PERFECT condition it was one of the best packaged boxes ive ever recieved when i got somethin from kspec it looked like someone kicked it from korea to NM and everything was nice and neat hell he threw in some KDM mags and some other shawg in the box just cuz (like a official MOBIS car banner and a emblem cuz im "special" lol)

john doesnt make a buck off of us guys he does it just cuz he wants to help out he is NOT a business do dont treat him like a business if somethin takes a couple days extra to get to you and it isnt his fault dont talk to him like it is

you want somethin express? pay 5 times as much for FedEx shipping but i rather wait a extra 2 days and get it for a fraction of the cost

i was quite impressed on how it was packed i was worred about my gaskets gettin damaged by the rotors but let me tell you i bet the rotors didnt have 4 mms to move around in the box the entire time

That guy jumped the gun big time. Frankly, his posts on that thread make him look like a flat out ass. He didn't seem to understand that you are one person doing this as a favor to us in your off time. If he needed them so fast, he should have forked out the $ to SR. And then he would never have gotten them at all. smile.gif For this kind of savings, you should be willing to wait a bit for the parts. People prepay for group buys and wait months, sometimes the better part of a year. A few weeks should be no issue for the prices you've been giving.

I would suggest you keep your service reserved for members of rdtiburon. Not to ignore other Hyundai tuners, but to deal with people you know. I've had buyers like that before myself, and frankly I mostly sell on ebay to avoid that kind of crap.

I hope you are charging enough to make some profit. This shouldn't be a losing proposition for you.

 

Mad_John, alls I got to say is you a f***in cool dude. From what I hear from Faith about your tele convos you a funny dude too. But hey we all apreciate your work here at the site. I appreciate what you've done for me. And I (as well as everyone) try to return the favor to you whenever we can.

I dunno what you're doing around October (early part of the month). But i remember you were talking about making it to the states for a BBQ with REDZ, Faith the ABQ crew and whoever else shows up from around the states. I was even talking to Dmitry about gettin him a vistor's visa to make this BBQ. It has potential to be the greatest ABQ BBQ ever (so far every one has been better than the previous). All I'm sayin is if you make it to the BBQ, even for one night I'll pick you up from the airport and you got a free bottle of liquor (your choice) on me.
