Well damnit, this sucked but luckily I got everythign straightened out.
Before a show I had my front bumper fixed up by the dude who did my hatch. While moving the car he noticed the front driver side speaker wasn't functioning... I got a call letting me know, and why it wasnt working really bothers me.
Water somehow leaks down inside my drivers side door. It dripped onto my zapco speaker and shorted it out. I can tell it had been happening (dripping) for quite some time, little by little because the wood rings which hold my speaker in the door panel had started warping. It's not like a flood but it can an dhas caused problems over time.
Has anyone else had any problems with their seal or anything close to this? maybe my weatherseal is msessed up I took a look at it but just cant realize how it would have happened. It's up towards the mirror im assuming. Just seeing if anyone else has had any problems or if it's a freak thing that I'll just have to fix some day... (Thank god Zapco replaced the speaker for free)
