about two monthes ago i bought a air bag set for my car. i just now put it on becasue they failed to send me the right parts. after six phone calls to CA, i finally got my parts two weeks later. it has taken a week to put the kit on due to probelms with the kit such as not having enough tubing. finally when i got the whole kit on the car i found two holes in the ends of the pressure tank.

as you can see this kit was more trouble than it wa worth, at the cost of $1400. i give you my warning stay away from www.airbagit.com !!!

Why bother getting airbags anyway? They never go off anyway in accidents with Tibs. lol.gif

Thanks for the info, I'll remember that for later on.

Good one, very true.

Where would be a good place to get bags though?, that includes everything in the kit they say it will include and not have holes in the tank.

Some shops do it. I got my bags checked because my Tib has a salvage title, and even though I don't need them in the car because of the title, I was wondering if they were intact. Turns out yes, but they would've replaced them for me. I didn't get a price though. Should be shops like that around you since I live in the middle of no where.

What is odd is that the Tib I bought had to have the entire door, front fender, and rear fender replaced on the passenger side. Yet no bags went off. lol.gif

Well oops lol.gif Hot damn I feel stupid. Forgive me, I can't click on excess websites since I'm on uber-slow dialup.

1400 is about right for airbag suspension, so at least no price rip. Hrm... you are in a dillemma then. Coilovers are the ownage... not really any reputable companies that make airbags for the Tib...
