i bumped a thread too early well its kinda stupid to get a lil warning if u didnt know that rule even existed. im new i didnt know. is this rule posted somewere i havent seen it. somone coulda pm me and said not to do it but u guys warned me and pm me after wtf1.gif

 

In order to keep a civil community we need to have some rules.

1. Do not post off topic. I know that at times the conversations tend to steer away, but try to get it back on topic or we may split or lock the post.
2. Everyone has the right to there own opinion. If someone doesn't like how your car looks, they have the right to say it. However, personal flames are not tolerated.
3. Do not post useless info to raise your post count, you all know what this is called. It is not acceptable, and we reserve the right to delete them.
4. Keep it clean. By law you must be 13 or older to register without a parent's consent, but we must maintain a civil environment.
5. Along with the above, do not post pornographic images.
6. Do not link images off-site. Some websites, aka rotten.com, replaces linked images with some very obscene images. You could ruin your reputation with some of the stuff they put in there. Plus, it is basically stealing there bandwith.
7. Keep signatures less than 10 lines.
8. Keep posted images at 640 by 480 or less. Do not incovenience the rest of the users with scroll bars, everyone hates them as it is.
9. Do not flame individuals
10. Do not flame other forums, we will not have forum wars. (Can't we all just get along?)
11. If you have a Gripe with a Moderator or SITE ADMIN, PM them and talk to them like adults.
12. Threats and other personal harrasment is grounds for immediate and permanent banning. This isn't 3rd grade and no one wants to fight you. You are 3000 miles away anyways, so treat folks like you want to be treated.
13. When a group buy is over and all customers have received their items, the GB POC will edit the post name so that it is preceded with *CLOSED*. After the title is edited, they will then contact the forum moderator or an admin to have the topic moved to the Closed Group Buy forum. This is to prevent confusion amongst members, and to allow ongoing group buys to receive more notice.
14. There will be absolutely no harrasment/flaming in the Newbie Bin. If you can not help them, do not even post.

We reserve the right to modify or add to these rules without prior notice.

its what we refer to as "post whoring" pardon the expression
bumping a post within 24 hours is concidered a "double post" which is a form of "post whoring"

bumps are for day old threads, not to bump them from the 2nd page of new posts to the first page.

For new users, we give them about 20 to 50 posts to learn the ropes, then the warnings start. You have 20 chances. LOL

No one has got all the way yet with 20. We have a few with about 15 warnings, but usually they get banned for something else by then.

Anyways, you are the only one that can see your warning meter. You, and the staff I should say.

No worries though. Learn from your mistakes, and move on. It's not a serious issue till you start getting alot of them.

but i also printed out the rules, some of them i did not know like for the pic size.

but is there any way that when a new person come on board they have to read the site rules as default. and every three months or so automaticly send a reminder. just a thought because i have see a increcese of people asking about the warnng meater alot . theres are just some ideals my brothers. i would sure like to get my hand on that one guy.....fox something.... mad.gif

yea, NOW i know its not allowed, but did i have to get warned?
