I was up at 7a.m. to my door bell going off. I open the door, two guys tell me my work truck was hit around 6a.m. The guy who hit it did a hit-n-run, but was soon found. So far from what I can tell it's pretty much totalled out. I'll let the pictures do the talking:

Then, two nights ago around 10:30 I hear a big boom outside the apartment. I go outside to find this:

A guy driving the black van smashed into the back of the grey van, causing the four parked cars to accordian up on eachother. After the parked grey van got hit, a small tree fell down onto two girls. The guy that caused the accident ran away, but was soon caught thereafter by the police. From the pictures you can see the black van and grey van are totalled. The white Volvo has some pretty severe damage as well. I have to wait to hear back from the police for a CCR report so I can go after the guy for damages since we only had liability on the Cavalier. Nobody including the two girls were hurt, which is a good thing.

what is really suprising is people trying to run away from major accidents like these two.

but.....people never seem to amaze me anymore, at least your tib wasn't involved, or was it?

Dude. I don't care how hick this sounds, but I'd park on my lawn before your street again... But on the brightside, new company truck, right?

whoa! did they run away on foot? i'd like to know what they were driving-... i mean to cause that much damage and drive away (you'd think they would have to drive a tank to do that & drive off)? sorry to hear about it.
