on wednesday july 19 the area i live in had some really strong storms, and well a 12ft branch fell into my garage and on the tiburon. the car was pinned and we had to take the garage door off, reinforce what was left of the garage and pull the car out. it took a little bit of work but we saved the tib. now i have quite a few scratches on the right fender, about an inch hole in the hood and a dent the size of a grapefruit on the right fender. thats a b****!!!!

ouch i hope no one was killed! yeah man i'm in the process of trying to have the homeowners insurance to pay for it but i haven;t gotten an estimate due to the fact that my city (Alton , IL) has had a huge power outage so most of my town and about a dozen other towns have no power yet

yeouch! Welcom to the Fallen Tree Club! I too had a tree/giant branch fall on my tib last fall... on the plus side, insurance stuff like this makes it much easier to buy new aftermarket stuff! Just glad to hear nobody was hurt.

thats a b*tch, does your insurence cover that, hear in the U.K insurence companys try to get away with not paying up for that sort of thing, they claim its - an act of God , and that policys don't cover that.

I had an overhanging branch fall off and hit my car as I was driving along the other day. I think it tagged my back window as I couldn't find a dent, which was lucky.

Seems Tib owners have to be wary around trees. lmao.gif

You may get a choice of two insurance claims....seeing that the garage got screwed, you should be able to claim the car damage under the house insurance at the same time. Like Phorq says, could be an opportunity for them Z3 fenders and a CF hood.
