yes Paul Walker is quite the actor. I actually thought that Tokyo Drift was the best of the FnF movies. Although I don't really understand why anyone would want to drift and kill their cars lol

I went with a local car group to see it... Everyone cracked up because I am the only hyundai owner out of all of em. Yet I was the one laughing when we had a shoot out at a local 1/4 mile track not to long after that lmao.gif

Well if you take out or ignore all the stupid comments that they have in the movie, that most of the time dont make sence, it wouldnt be that bad lmao.gif

As for the people who watch it..there is a big range. These days TV is one of the biggest education resoursers and people learn from it and it doesnt matter if the information is wrong or no..If a 13-19 year old that doesnt know much about cars sees a movie like that, what do you expect him to learn? lmao.gif he just goes and talks how he is going to get a Civic and turn it into a fully sick race car lmao.gif .. i know quite a few people that think that FnF was the best movie series ever.. and you cant talk them out of it..they believe what they see on there and so my car is the biggest pile of sh1t and i should shut up and get a civic or something decent lmao.gif lmao.gif

Well maybe a little bit of both, but who cares what ignorant people think, makes it just that more interesting/satisfying when you show them up

I think the best review I saw of that movie was from a car mag before it came out.... "why are they making a 3rd FnF movie... is it because of hollywoods deep intrest in the modified car scene... is it because of their intrest in import racing... or is it because they know they can squeeze another dollar out of us true car fans because as much as we hate it they know we will go and watch it."

i read quite a number of forum, i found 1 think in common --> No one question about, "how an AWD Evo IX drift in FnF TD?"

For Evo fans out there, stock AWD Evo can't drift.

yah they did a RWD conversion

I read up on it in a magazine, i think it was modified magazine, they featured another RWD evo; its actually pretty easy. You put something in the differential that prevents power from being sent to the front wheels, then you pull out the driveshafts and plug the holes.

But sending all the power to just the rear wheels leaves it as just a drift car because the car wasnt made to support all of the power to 2 wheels. the guy who wrote the article said the guy who owns the evo said its "not worth a sh.it in a straight line"

Hyundai cant drift? shit man, thats what the ebrake is for lmao.gif

Yeah the comment was def saying hyundai sux, I know this first hand b/c alot of people are know are straight ricers and all ricers thing hyundai sux...

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>BTW, if you do the work yourself and source parts right, you can have a 500hp Chevy 350 motor for around $3k. At least with US parts.</div>

Naa much cheaper.. swap meets. Unfortunately for us, we cant just go to swap meets once a week and get over 1k in parts for 100$.

Honestly, I like all the FF movies. They are the only movies out there that got modded up cars. I dont think that there are any ricers there, most of them cars are straight perfromance. And to top it all off, every one of the cars that raced or drifted was actually built and modded. The people that built the cars actually have slip times of the mustang before and after the swap. It ran quicker on the GTR motor laugh.gif

Lol... double clutch... lmao.gif Shit, double clutching is for noobs who do not know how to drive trucks (not pickup trucks, actual trucks)
