well, I have a weekend free for a change. I was hoping to spend it working on my Bimmer. Right now the car is looking just a little ghetto. The front bumper cover is cracked and falling apart fast thanks to the dog I hit right before christmas and I have the entire headliner and pillar covers out to recover.
So, two weeks ago I order the microsuede to recover my headliner, took out the old one, stripped it down to the glassfibre, and recovered it in some nice foam.. I finally get the notice yesterday from Fedex.. arrivial is monday. Balls!
So, I call the guy who is painting my M3 bumper cover.. be done on monday. Balls again!
I have several things coming to me from ebay.. including new door handles as the rubber gaskets on mine had perished.. UPS says they will be here monday.
I just cannot win!

Monday? that is funny. I might be able to get to some of them next weekend.. but after that, my time is GONE until mid march.
The whole headliner would have gone so much better of Joanns' fabric had not decided to sell off all their heavier fabrics and not order any more in anticipation of lighter spring and summer stuff.

ya know, for the first time i saw a bmw hatch, on my way back from partying on the eastern shore. lowered, slight tint, silver, and nice wheels. looked REALLY good.
but yeah, that blows. i hate waiting on parts when you need them immediately.

well, I was pleasantly surprised, the fabric showed up today for my headliner. Guess I am glad I am home recovering from food poisoning, had to sign for it.
