So the other night I decided i was finally going to hook my system back up. I had my battery relocated which made things TONNNNS easier, but i only had one sub working, old amp blew both, so i used a spare i had. and i cracked one of the lil knobby things that the speaker wire goes into from the amp. of course the one that broke was on the side of the sub that worked, so i had to switch the two thingymabobs. get everything all hooked up right, at this point im dying of heat (im fat and it was like 85deg., high humidity and i was sitting in my car.) so i turn the car on, amp doesnt fvcking even light up, no protection light, nothing. no fuses are blown or nething..so i changed the remote wire location. STILL NOTHING.. BAHH w/e imma throw the thing out the fvcking window.

onto my triple gauge pillar pod piece of crap. so i ordered 4 new gauges, MEGAN RACING EGT, oil temp, oil pressure, boost. so i was going to install my FG pillar thingy. snapped out the stock one, went to fit the other one in. HOLY FVCKING WARPED TO HELL BATMAN. it not only had about 2" gap from the warpage, or w/e happened, when i tried to get it to fit, it will fit, with like 100lbs of pressure holding it in place. misewell get a generic one and just screw it in. thats the only way this thing is ever going to go in there. it doesnt have any snaps on the backside. sure would fvcking help if it did.

its like the shape is perfect its just bowed out.. ill get pics soon.

sucks man. i tried to hook up a friends speaker system once and couldn't find out why the hell none of them were getting any power. it was like a huge mystery. he just said fvck it and went to best buy and they did it for him.

don't lose hair over it. hope everything works out.

Well, from the description of it, mine was like that too.

I forced it in and put a screw at the top of it (top of the door). There is still a 1/2 inch gap in the middle of the pillar and it cracked a little bit near the first pod.

Go get it apholstered and it should beef it up a little bit. Then maybe a new fabric on the headliner and the other pillar, and it'd look SEX.

for reference, i went through a box full of brand new auto meter gauge pods today, and tried fitting them up, well the dual gauge pod for the sonoma (i think it was a 99) fit over the a pillar perfectly. so i swiped it, ill be mounting gauges this week when i have time in preperation for tibathon this week.

just thought you might like that bit of info

I gave it to him. I got it from nyne from hp.com, but I dont know where he got it. When I got it from him though it had layers of paint on it that I had to sand down, and then I repainted it. I dont know if that had any effect on the part.
