Coming home last night it was raining and im drivin and all the sudden 2 cars ahead me, the guy decides to slam on his brakes to get in McD's. Well the lady behind him did the same and stopped. Me on the other hand slammed mine on and had time to check the other lane but there was a car right next to me so i had no choice but to hit her.

And whatever else is in the front that would be damaged if my radiator is practically ripped off. If you saw my car youd expect a whole lot of damage on the other one as well. lol couldnt tell she was hit unless you got close.

Im sure there will be more but i had it towed las tnight and waiting for the body shop to call me. I was so damn mad. Not at her or the guy ahead of her but just the fact that with everything else goin on go figure things get worse. My insurance JUST dropped 1200 fwe days ago when we renewed our policy. Now i got a ticket but we are settling the damage outside of insurance. This lady was totally cool bout it all. she said if it were her car shed say " see ya later" and let me go. but it was her Bfs so she called him and I was flippin out because i didnt want insurance involved and she said hed be totally cool bout it all. Which he was! I gave them $300 on the spot. called her later last night to make sure she was ok and that her bf wasnt all mad and to thank them for handling it the way they did. And she said everything is good we are squared away and that I wouldnt be hearing from her after that. I told her to call me tho when she figures out how much it was because ill b worryin bout it till then.

Bottom line....
Car sits for awhile because i have no where near the money to fix it. Ill fix w/e i need to to get it running and the body can wait. so no hood or bumper for some time lol...Might be good time for converting to a rd1 front end that i was thinkin bout.

 

damn hate b1tches like that. that's gotta suck.

 

Meh yeah. One thing I learned from my accident is that Tiburons crumble up a lot. Its probably safe, but is super expensive to fix.

Called body shop guy. he said the most he can tell right now is that i need all the above listed parts... and the core support sad.gif. All hes been able to do was just take hood off and look around he said he was slammed yesterday. I belive it too because i went to go look at her and he had bout 15 cars in his garage. he said if he had to give a ROUGH estimate...

Parts and labor--$4500. I told him i could get parts for probably cheaper hopefully off of here. but again that is rough estimate..

Options...
I wasnt going to go thru insurance because i was hoping it was just the parts i needed in the above post, but obviously its worse.
1. Go to insurance, make a claim, and risk getting kicked off my insurance sad.gif . If i dont get kicked off letting them pay for it
2. Go to insurance, tell them its totaled, and get the money and buy a differen car. QUESTION THO. i have a loan out for the tib, am i able to transfer the loan to the new car i get and just continue paying it off?
3. Have him fix the core support and whatever else i need to make it structuraly(sp?) safe. then take it and get the rest of the parts myself and repair it myself (body parts, radiator, fans, etc)
4. Take a bus or taxi for the rest of my life lol

QUESTION...
I had 3 tickets BEFORE i was 18. two of which were wrecks. My question is...My insurance wsa literally renewed this past week. It dropped $1200 because i think like one or two of my tickets was erased off my record. Now i know you can be kicked off by your company, but technically all im really doing is replacing this new ticket with the one that dropped off right? so its not like i have 4 since one dropped and i just replaced it with this new one. So are they still able to hold my ticket that dropped against me?

I got all the parts for between 6-800 (from junk yards).

Granted I am doing all the work, I can not see 3000 worth of labor in that.

 

Well he said he was figurin that much from all new parts i guess from dealer. I dont know im supposed to meet him today to figure out whats going to happen. he said theres all kinds of ways to do this with parts from yards, dealers, or aftermarket. so he will work with me. this guy has not screwed me yet iv known him for awhile. i trust him 100%

But if insurance doesnt drop me, ill get their help and get convert my rd2 to a rd1 front end with

Head lights-talkin with chris bout this

Fender(passenger side)
